“Sense of Place” Exhibition Closing & Artist Talk

Sunday, August 24, 2-4 pm

You are warmly invited to join us for a special event marking the closing of “Sense of Place,” an exhibition by the talented artists from the 2727 Arts Co-op. This is a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the themes of the exhibition and connect directly with the creators.

The highlight of the afternoon will be a panel-style artist talk featuring Janet Brugos, Mary Coffield, and Matthew Felix Sun, and hosted by our dedicated gallery manager, LindenJL. This engaging discussion will explore the profound influence of "place" on the artists' lives and their creative processes. Discover how their surroundings, personal histories, and geographical locations shape their perspectives and find expression in their art. The artists will share insights into their individual journeys, inspirations, and the techniques they employ to translate their "sense of place" onto canvas, sculpture, or other mediums. The audience is encouraged to ask questions in a Q&A session following the artist talk.

Following the formal program, please stick around to mingle with the artists and fellow art enthusiasts while enjoying light refreshments.
